US drama co-written and directed by Kelly Reichardt. In 1820s Oregon, Chinese immigrant King-Lu (Orion Lee) crosses paths with chef Cookie (John Magaro), who is travelling with a band of fur trappers. Together, the pair decide to improve their fortunes by making and selling cakes using the stolen milk of the first cow in the region, a venture that places both of their lives in danger.
