Victoria Wood writes and directs this musical drama starring Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton as Tubby and Enid, two lonely Mancunians who find love while preparing for a televised choir reunion. Tubby and Enid sang in the same choir when they were schoolchildren but it is only now, thirty years later, that they feel a connection. However, Enid is romantically involved with a married man. But how will she react when she finds out that Tubby carries a torch for her?
